THE DIVISION GLOBAL EVENTS

Global Events introduce new and challenging modifiers designed to spice up your traditional gameplay experience. Global Events will occur on a regular basis, over the course of one continuous week, and will feature a brand-new currency, Tokens, as a reward that can be spent on items such as Classified Caches. These events are designed to give a jolt to the open world of The Division by offering a new way to experience post-Green Poison NYC.

These Global Events will also offer players a chance to obtain Classified Gear, which start with a score of 256, regardless of World Tier. Players will also be able to activate additional modifiers for some missions and incursions, adding an extra layer of challenge and giving them a chance to yield more rewards.

Global Event 1: Outbreak - 3/1 to 3/5

In Outbreak, the first Global Event for The Division, face a severe virus outbreak that will affect the behavior of all enemies. Activate extra modifiers for even more challenge and earn unique rewards!

GLOBAL MODIFIER: Outbreak - always active. Headshot kills increase headshot damage for a duration and hurt nearby targets.
GROUP MODIFIER: Severe Outbreak. Outbreak behavior, plus enemies are 'Contagious' and will drain Agents' health when close.
ACTIVITY MODIFIER: Critical Outbreak. Severe Outbreak behavior, plus headshot-marked enemies are killed instantly by a headshot from another Agent.

Global Event 2: Assault - 3/8 to 3/12

In Assault, the second Global Event for The Division, experience high-intensity close-range combat with damage modifiers. Activate extra modifiers for even more challenge and earn unique rewards!

GLOBAL MODIFIER: Assault - always active. Enemies are Vulnerable and all Agent damage is increased at close range.
ACTIVITY MODIFIER: Crucial Assault. Assault behavior plus all enemy damage is increased at longer range.
GROUP MODIFIER: Major Assault. Crucial Assault behavior plus agent damage increases when near other agents, enemy damage increases when Agents are separated.

Global Event 3: Strike - 3/15 to 3/19

In Strike, the third Global Event for The Division, face explosive enemies that will force you to re-think and adapt your strategies. Activate extra modifiers for even more challenge and earn unique rewards!

GLOBAL MODIFIER: Strike - Always active. Enemies explode after they are killed.
GROUP MODIFIER: Pre-emptive Strike - Strike behavior, plus sustained incoming damage triggers a small explosion on Agent.
ACTIVITY MODIFIER: Tactical Strike - Pre-emptive Strike behavior, plus enemies are marked using Strike explosions, when killed they damage remaining enemies. Ally to Ally explosion damage is increased.

Global Event 4: Ambush - 3/22 to 3/26

From March 22-26, take part in Ambush, the fourth Global Event for Tom Clancy’s The Division. Change your play style and way you approach your endgame activities for greater rewards!

GLOBAL MODIFIER: Ambush - Agent deals increased damage when stationary.
ACTIVITY MODIFIER: Covert Ambush - Ambush behavior, plus health diminishes while moving.
GROUP MODIFIER: Strategic Ambush - Covert Ambush behavior, plus health diminishes when close to allies.
