Greetings, agents!

As we kick off the beta for Xbox One today, we are extremely excited to welcome players back into the world of The Division. We draw closer to the March 8 release every day, and your involvement in the game is more important than ever!

Head over to our discussion section on the forums where, if you have taken part in the beta, you can not only provide your own feedback but also join in on the conversation with other agents to see what they think. We are keen on hearing what you have to say, and we pay close attention to the discussions, so make sure you report in!

Over the course of the beta, we will also be live streaming content over on our Twitch channel 24/7. During the stream you will find daily shows with the latest news, Let’s Play sessions from some of the devs, and much more. Don’t be shy: join in on the Twitch chat, talk to the devs, and let us know what you think! The full schedule is available here (hyperlink) so you can get an overview of what will be happening.

Each day we will also be releasing a series of pro-tips straight from the developers to give you some insight into some features that you might not know about. Today we are giving you a bit more information on how to customize your UI!

Your Mission

New York was the pinnacle of a living and active city before the events of Black Friday, but in the aftermath the world has become a hostile place. It’s your job to restore order and protect what little life remains.

Breathe life back into the city at the ground level, the people. In the wake of the virus we’ve had several reports that civilians have become so desperate to stay alive and find supplies that they’ve found themselves in dangerous situations and need help. However, dispatching of hostile enemies is not the only way to help civilians. Due to the collapse of several basic services many of them find themselves without the resources they need to survive. As an authoritative figure they will look to you for help so be on the lookout.

Your objective is to provide assistance to as many civilians as possible. As an agent, you will receive a reward for your combined efforts, and you will also receive a token of thanks from each civilian you help. The agent who goes above and beyond and assists the most civilians will receive a special reward, so definitely keep your eyes open.

It’s time to get out there and start your adventure! Keep your eyes peeled for more information and your mission right back here tomorrow. We hope you have fun – we will be watching! :)
