State of the Game: October 6, 2016

Greetings Agents!

During last week’s State of the Game we discussed what would be happening during the second week of the PTS and some of the changes that were coming to your gear and weapons in Update 1.4. This week we delved into all things loot!

Today we had a maintenance for both the Live Server and PTS server. The Live Server had a standard maintenance to further optimize the servers and clean up the data bases while on the PTS we deployed the patch for Week 3!

As a reminder, these patch notes represent what has been changed, fixed, or added following Week 2 of the PTS. Week 3 is the closest we’ve been to what we want Update 1.4 to be and we hope that the community feedback will confirm this. We’ve seen a huge amount of success and involvement during each of the testing weeks and wanted to thank you, the community, for this. We can’t wait to get Update 1.4 into your hands!

Future PTS

The PTS for Update 1.4 will wrap up after Week 3, a few of you have been wondering about the future of the PTS. We’ve seen overwhelming success with it so far thanks to the community involvement and will definitely be utilizing this for future Updates.

Time to Kill/Time to be killed

During Week 2 of the PTS we followed a number of discussions that said the time to kill and time to be killed taking a turn for the worse. We are investigating what is the cause of this and PTS week 3 should resolve this. Please provide us with feedback on how it is now!

MG5 Light Machine Gun

Many of you have noticed the MG5 blueprint that was implemented in Week 2 of the PTS. This was a mistake and is not being added with Update 1.4. We’ve seen several discussions that would like to see it added into the game with the Update, however our focus is on improving the current weapon systems in the game and implementing a new weapon would take time away from that. It might make an appearance in a future update however!
